Acne Problems - Could it Be Related to Diet?



Here is a topic that I am not all that familiar with. But is a topic that I think should be addressed. Let us put it this way: Your body is trying to tell you something when you are having problems with acne. What you have here, is a common inflammation in the body. And inflammation can be directly related to an allergy. Allergies affect people in many different ways. Some people have joint problems; some may have constipation; some may have rashes develop; some may have diarrhea and some may have fungus problems. This can lead to problems later in life, if not addressed earlier. Just think for a minute: If you put sugar in your gas tank of your car; wouldn't run very well, would it? Same principles exist with your body. Common sense can go a long way. But you have to think before you eat. There is just array of different things that your body will tell you once you have start to pay attention to what your eating.

If there is an acne problem, unfortunately, it is right there for the others to see. If these allergies persist in the facial area; there can be permanent scaring. A famous actor, Tommy Lee Jones, has that. And, you can get the creams, go see the dermatologist, etc., etc. And that all can be very beneficial. But what we really want? We want to get at the root of the cause. Again, the face is showing the irritation. This is particularly strong during adolescence, due to the hormones; but this may persist well into your thirties and forties-- if not addressed.

So what do we do? First and foremost, I would look and what you are putting into your body. What are you eating? Is it nutritious? Is it something that is not made by man? Does it have chemicals in it? Read the labels on everything you are ingesting-- and do this religiously. But start with simplifying your diet. Start eating just a few foods at a time. Because if it is an allergy, it will come to the surface and then you can eliminate it. Even if it is a healthy fruit or vegetable, you may be having a allergic reaction. We are all so different and our bodies all react differently. This is why people just can not go and do the same diet that everyone else does. And that is a subject for another article. But seriously, this is a very serious situation for young people and some adults all over this world. And with the fast food industry all around us, it is becoming even more prevalent in the undeveloped countries. Try to incorporate fresh vegetables and fruits into your diet. Eliminate a lot of the fried foods and sugars (processed) in the diet. Common sense. Start slowly, because you are probably not going to enjoy this process right away. That was the case with me. But the more you discipline yourself in this manner, the better your chances of eliminating the acne and feeling much better. Because inflammation is telling you something. Please take the time to listen to what your body likes and dislikes.

I wish I knew what I know now. I would have had a lot fewer allergic reactions to foods, because I would have stopped eating them. Simple as that. Mine, fortunately, was not acne. A food that I truly loved, and i found this to be so highly allergic to me late in my life? Eggs. There is a rough one to come to terms with. But I just felt lousy after eating it. Sometimes, even angry, because my body would react to that high-concentration of protein. My body could not break that highly complex protein down. Again, simple as that.

To start this process, i would recommend eating one or two things at a time. And small doses to start with. Example: Cashews. Eat a handful and then wait twenty minutes. And that is when you have not eaten a bunch of other stuff a half hour before. Isolate. If you do that? Then you start to find out the culprit. The person who is overweight, may have desensitized themselves from feeling anything. So it is particularly important to eat good things from the start. This is a process that all individuals should go through.

Note: This is important. You may find that you are allergic to a lot of different things. There is where the rotation of the diet is key. Try to break back some of those foods you were allergic to. If you feel lousy, take them right back out.

Simple. Again, common sense rules the day. But with a highly allergic person-- which I am-- you need to stay basic and not go to far off track. Because, believe me, you are going to want to go back and try several foods again. The eggs?

I have tried; and I'm better, but I still don't want them, because I get a slight headache. So try this, and tell your parents to try this.

Once bad habits are eliminated and you have done your due-diligence with food elimination, then a restructuring of the body will start to unfold. And your feelings about life will really change.
